Versatile- Not just for coffee beans! This is my second of these grinders. I loved my old one, purchased with unknown mileage, at a thrift store years ago. I finally burned out the motor and am so glad it’s still available… The removeable stainless cup is THE BEST part about this item, and now I have a spare!The reason I am so in love with this grinder has nothing to do with how perfect the coffee grounds come out- they don’t. It’s acceptable for a coffee drinker like myself who drinks it for effect and doesn’t fret over the fact that the fineness of the grind depends on operator attentiveness! The super awesome thing is that it functions like a tiny little blender; the blades and action are just like my 1954 Osterizer, just on a smaller scale! Therefore, it’s perfect for making little portions of anything where you are working with a wet slurry or paste.
