Great I threw away a previous coffee maker because it leaked onto the warming plate and often onto my counter-top just about every time I used it. This one doesn’t leak and brews a great cup of coffee.UPDATE:Although it does brew a good cup of coffee, I’m downgrading it to 2 stars because of several issues, most of which have been commented on by others.1) The opening to the coffee reservoir is too small, causing the water to spill over into the fresh coffee grounds prior to brewing. If you remove the basket, the water pours directly through onto the base and counter. Also, because of the height of the coffee maker when the lid is open to add water, I have to pull it completely to the front of my kitchen counter to clear the cupboard above, meaning I have to unplug it.
