Coffee so good, it will ruin you. My how the tables have come full circle and turned upside down.I started my love affair with coffee at a young age, addicted the the auto drip coffee. As I grew I became less enamored with it, but I still called her every week. Then things changed on the Honeymoon with my Wife. We stayed a fancy hotel and Coffee, well she was served as a french press. Oh those seductive notes, the rich taste, she lulled me back to her again. As soon as I got home I got a French Press and never looked back. Now it is 10 years later. Better than Chemex I have been a loyal Chemex supporter since 1960, but I have now switched to Coffee Gator. Its elegant design and ease of use now make this my preferred coffee maker. There are no paper filters to fold, cleanup is fast and simple, and the Coffee Gator costs less than 2 boxes of Chemex paper filters.I used to believe that only a paper filter could remove the very fine coffee particles that cloud the color and change taste as they continue to brew in the cup. In a 16 oz thermos bottle mix 1 fluid oz (20 grams) of medium grind coffee and 12 fluid oz (320 ml) of not quite boiling water (allow boiling water to cool by falling a few inches while poring it over the grounds)…
