Makes good tasting hot coffee but bottom rusts UPDATED Jul 2015 details below, went from 4 to 2 stars. Unit does not last w/o problems.Have had this unit for 6 weeks and it makes good quality coffee that stays hot for at least the 2-3 hours we linger over our 3 cups each (6 cups total or I should say MUGS since 10 cups in the carafe converts to 6 of our medium sized mugs). We put a dab of cold creamer in each cup but it’s still hot enough to drink in a few minutes after 3 hours. Note this is using brew water standing overnight at around 72-74 degrees room temperature and in a few months when we let our house drop to 62 overnight we’ll see if this continues or we need to use the 1-4 cup button to double heat the brew water in winter. We also buy good quality bagged ground coffee, not the larger 39oz plastic tubs, and typically a French Roast or Mahogany type of dark blend. We had a different model Cuisinart for a few years before the electronics konked out so knew it to be a good brand. We tried another brand…
