Saves space and easy to clean I have had this coffee maker about a month now and have had no issues. The design to eliminate having to pull out the coffee maker to put water in it works great. I have had all kinds of coffee maker over the years including a couple of expensive Bunn units that were well over $100. This Hamilton Beach 46310 is easy to use and the swing out basket is great. I use the gold screen permanent filter they offer and when I need to rinse out the filter Iâm able to easily remove the basket with the filter in it so I donât make a mess and I can rinse both at the same time. One thing that is not in the description or pictures is that there is large flip up lid to access the water holding tank so if you wanted to clean or fill with water you could. I donât make weak coffee so the main problem I have had in the past is grounds flowing over the top of the filter and either into the pot or clogging the basket and flowing over the top of the basket and making that mess some of us know all about…
Great coffee maker you wonât be disappointed First off I would like to say I was hesitant on ordering this coffee maker since most of the reviews were people who got it for free. I love this coffee maker! Nothing beats waking up to freshly brewed coffee. The time illumination is nice and not too bright. I love the fill level indicator on the side of the water reservoir. The front top load water reservoir access is very convenient, I no longer have to pull my coffee maker out from under my counter to fill it with water. The hot plate automatically shuts its self off after an hr or two, so no burnt coffee in the carafe. Coffee is brewed at a decent temperature. I use butter, coconut oil, and heavy cream which cools the temp down I would prefer the coffee hotter but itâs manageable. Itâs compatible with a reusable filter (no more waisting coffee filters).
