Read ALL the reviews before you buy. After a gift of whole bean coffee for christmas, my wife and I went out to buy a coffee Grinder. I’ve never owned one, so we looked for something that was easy to use and was a brand we recognized. We got this unit and paid $14.99 (or so.)Perhaps the thing that impresses me the most about this is that I can leave it on the counter top. The cord winds up in the base. Let me say this again, the cord doesn’t hang out and snag on everything, or get in your way, it winds up in the base! Would that all small appliances had this feature! As for the grinding, it’s perfect. I love my coffee and from the outset this unit has worked FLAWLESSLY. I like how fine my end product is.It’s cheap! Even if it worked 75% as good as it does, I would say this is a steal.I love how the grinder compartment comes apart, and despite recommendations against, I still hand wash the detachable parts and let air dry for a good day. I still hand clean the main part with a dry or very light damp paper, sit it upside down and and let it dry a good day. No problems here, but again, the manufacturer (and pretty much everyone else) advises against this. I’m just lazy,…
