Paid full price.. not bad! I was a little leery because when I bought this, ALL the reviews were from people who got the grinder free or discounted in exchange for a review. I know, it’s not supposed to cause a bias, but still.. Who doesn’t feel happier about a product if they only paid half price or less?I took the chance though, and after a few days of owning it I feel pretty much 100% satisfied. I mean, I just need to grind my espresso beans. Maybe there are things it lacks that high end grinders have, I guess ignorance is bliss because I can’t think of anything else I would need.I started at the finest grind, using espresso roasted beans from Smart & Final. Although it made a decent shot, I couldn’t get a good thick crema head. So I moved it one notch coarser. Just pulled a great shot with a thick crema that didn’t dissolve! Good for espresso, also affordable and consistent grind. Five stars for this price range of grinders. I am not a huge coffee snob, so for all the regular coffee drinkers or people new to coffee hear me out. I did a bit of research on coffee grinders and found you should never get a blade grinder. Only burr. It is a more consistent grind. I honestly thought this grind was pretty consistent for such an affordable machine. I will post pictures soon or the grind I use for this espresso machine I got. I do not go to the finest setting. I use about 2 or 3 clicks from the finest setting. This thing is small, so it is easy to place if you want to store it or leave it out on the counter. It also holds a good bit of coffee, though I grind as I go. Again, I am not a coffee snob, but have read you will get the best tasting coffee when grinding it fresh. FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO USE THIS FOR ESPRESSO. YES, IT DOES A GOOD JOB GRINDING FOR ESPRESSO. I only found one question thread answering this which is the only thing I was looking for in a grinder. Other affordable grinders in this price range had…
