Great coffee burr hands down I was in the market for a decent burr grinder, but really didn’t want to spend a lot. I looked and compared and priced. Then I came across this one. I read the reviews. Some people complained it was too tiny. It grinds enough to make twelve cups of either coarse or fine grind so I didn’t see that as an issue. Some complained it was flimsy or cheaply made. Not just “Yeah, it’s a cheap product and built as such.” No, these people rip it apart and whine about every little nuance wrong with it. “The brush was too tiny” “It was a little too noisy” “The plastic had a 1 mm chip on the edge’ And they end up giving it two stars for pettiness. I take those reviews with a grain of salt. Good grinder for the money Iâve read a bunch of reviews on these types of grinders and wow, people can be so finicky. Hereâs the scoop on this grinder as our previous was the Cuisinart which we had for about 4 years. The Chefman does a great job for the money. The grind is consistent and ranges from course to almost power, itâs fairly quiet (I used to take the Cuisinart in the bathroom and shut the door in the morning so I didnât wake everyone up but no more), it takes up a small amount of space on the counter and the beans rarely get jammed. We like to use flavored coffee and the beans are usually oily and we had issues with the Cuisinart needing to be jostled around a bit during operation to get the beans to slide down. No issues after a month with the Chefman. Now, a bunch of people have complained about the grind not being consistent enough or that itâs messy with spilling the grounds. So, if you have issues with the grind consistency, you are too much of a coffee snob to be buying a grinder under $50. Go…
