consistent, simple, and small This is a good espresso machine that is consistent, simple, and small. There is some learning curve to get used to this machine, but once you have it, it only take 5 minutes from start to finish (cleaning) for a nice shot of espresso. The machine heats up quickly; it takes only 40 seconds to get started. But I start by warming up the filter and the cup by pulling an empty shot. I found that the water temperature gets slightly higher after the initial pull. The next step is getting the actual espresso shot. Most of the time, I do double shots, and it usually takes around 25~30 sec. For the single shot, it takes about 20 sec. (For comparison, Starbucks’ $180,00 fully automatic Mastrena machine takes 18~24 seconds for quad shots.) 30 seconds double shot is not bad for an entry level espresso machine, and I found the shot quality is consistent. Of course it’s not just the machine that makes a perfect shot of espresso, but when it comes to the…

Great espresso, crazy steamer! Purchased through amazon directly and not through a seller, got this at a good price of $223 and so far the espresso maker itself is quite perfect. Quick and easy and makes really great espresso. The noise however just makes me laugh, it sounds very similar to a sound I’ve heard from a sci-fi movie so I feel like aliens are attacking every time I hear it. It is obnoxious and loud but doesn’t last too long. A lot will hate it for that reason but it just is amusing to me. The steamer on the other hand is temperamental if not slightly possessed at times. Worked for a day and a half and when I went to start it again, I barely used it 5 seconds before it stopped working. When I tried to get it to work again the steam came out so hard it splashed the milk everywhere. Talk about ghost in the machine. Love the espresso, hate the steamer and it slightly scares me at times if it will work properly or try to kill me by steaming. I would suggest buying a separate steamer for heated milk! I give…
